About me

I have a strong background in coding and artificial intelligence, with experience in cloud-based microservice optimization and vision-language research. I'm passionate about creating innovative, data-driven solutions in machine learning and software development.

I studied Computer Science at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia — a bachelor's thesis on heuristic optimization for fog architectures, then a master's in Artificial Intelligence with a thesis on fine-tuning vision-language models for domain-specific image retrieval. That thesis grew out of my internship at Tetra Pak, where I now work full time as an AI & Analytics engineer on the same family of problems: making models like CLIP and SigLIP useful on real industrial data.

Along the way I've led the driverless division of a Formula Student team, published a paper on microservice placement in fog computing, and picked up a DevOps habit — if I build a model, I also want to own the pipeline that ships it.
